Quick Description (Windeo): This project was a homework for the Master's Degree course "Internet of Things", the teacher liked the idea, give us the best mark (18/20) and encouraged us to participate to the Hackathon 2018 in Paris.

  • Research & Insights: This project is based on "Augmented Reality" concept : I need to know the weather before go out, but instead of consult an app or the internet, I have the information directly on the window, we tried to study the product and offer the better display (=a little projector fixed on your window with our app)
  • Solution Design: We implemented screen that display the necessary information, here no interaction requested by the user, he only consult the weather, follow the advices given by the app and wear the necessary cloths to go out.
  • Impact: We have proposed this product during the Hackathon 2018 at Paris (Proto208 at Orsay), we didn't win the competition but it was very fun and we learned a lot.

Quick Description (Migrant Simulator): Another homework for Design class, the them was "Immigration", we proposed a Kinect app to make the user fill unconfortable with the instruction given by the app like a migrant when he arrives brutaly in an unknown country.

  • Research & Insights: The goal was simple : propose a simple list of task to achieve, the UI is in english and suddenly, we change the language to arabic and see the user's feeling.
  • Solution Design: We choose 2 different way of interaction : The Kinect for the english part, and the mouse for the arabic part (with no clear indication). Of course we were here to give some help.
  • Impact: It was presented like a game, 16 participants, only 5 have completed the game but 100% had understand the problem and filled like a migrant. This project was very cool to design and to present. Between the participant, a journalist was there and wrote an article (in french) about this journey.
